Barton Rovers lack of success in recent cup competitions continued with a home loss to local rivals Kempston Rovers at Sharpenhoe Road last Saturday. The opening half of this match was an evenly-contested affair that Barton shaded in terms of chances created but, with that said, Martin Conway the Kempston keeper was rarely in serious action.
