The 2025/26 campaign proved to be a season of resilience, attacking quality, and continued development for Barton Rovers.

The season began in encouraging fashion, with early victories over Marlow, Leverstock Green and Brantham Athletic setting a positive tone. Performances during this period highlighted the squad’s attacking intent, with convincing wins, including 4-0 victories against Rayners Lane and Stotfold, demonstrating the level the team is capable of reaching.

However, the campaign also presented its challenges. A difficult run of results through the winter months disrupted momentum, with Barton facing strong opposition across the Southern Central division. Despite this, the squad showed character and determination to respond.

That response became evident in the second half of the season.

Key results, including an impressive 4-1 away win at Rayners Lane, helped stabilise form before a strong finish to the campaign. Notable performances in the run-in included a 5-2 victory at Northwood, a hard-fought 3-2 win at Aylesbury United, and a standout 8-0 home triumph against AFC Dunstable, a result that underlined the team’s attacking potential when at full flow.

Throughout the season, goals were shared across the squad. Albie Hall led the line with consistency, while Rawn Seale contributed important goals at key moments. Support from players such as Alfie Warman, Murphy Culkin and Dion Miftari further emphasised the collective strength within the team.

While results fluctuated at times, the campaign provided a solid foundation for future progress. The squad’s strong finish offers optimism heading into the next season, with clear signs that Barton Rovers have the quality and character to build on this year’s experiences.
